Parks...and things.

Tyson and I decided to just do something as just the two of us, a few Saturdays ago. So we went four wheeling.. I was so cold! But, I must say I am getting a lot better on my four wheeler... I now go up and down hills with a lot more pizazz. It's kinda fun to hit those little jumps.

This is Parks' new face when I say "cheese" haha. so cute.

Baby Tag
1.Where were you when you first found out that you were pregnant? An old friends house. tragic. To bad I wasn't with my husband.
2.Who was with you? The friend. ugh.
3.How did you find out that you were pregnant? Pregnancy test.
4.What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? Nervous/Excited/Anxious
5.Who was the first person you told? My husband.. and then we told our parents.
6.Did you plan to get pregnant? Not really..
7.Did you tell everyone else right away? Pretty much.. yes.
8.Was everybody happy for you? Yeah.. my mom was stoked, this was her 4th grand baby.
9.Did you go out and celebrate? No.
10.Did you want to find out the sex? of course.
11.What was the sex? BOY!
12.Did anyone throw you a baby shower? Yes.. my sister.
13.Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you wouldn't put
on your baby? At every baby shower there are outfits that you think are a little nuts. ;)
14.How much weight did you gain? a lot. =/ I wont do that again. I was huge.
15.Did you lose all of the weight that you gained? Yes.
16.Did you get any stretch marks? Yes.. but they are back in style, right? That and cottage cheese! ;)
17.What did you crave the most? ice.
18.Did you crave anything crazy? No. I just loved the smell of fresh laundry.
19.Who or what got on your nerves? My husband. haha.. I was a little grouch sometimes.
20.Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? No. I just had weird things happen. I got hives!!
21.Where and when did you go into labor? At home.
22.Did your water break? No, they broke it in the hospital.
23.Who drove you to the hospital? My husband.
24.Who was in the room when you gave birth? Only Tyson.
25.Did you go early or late? Right on the date... May 16th
26.How long were you in labor for? um.... hard labor probably like 11-12 hours.. something like that.
27.Did you have any drugs for the pain? Yes!!
28.Did you go natural or have a C-section? Natural.
29.What was your first reaction after giving birth?I was just in awe.
30.How big was the baby? 7.8 lbs. and 21.5 inches long
31.Did your husband cry? He didn't cry.. but he got all teared up. It was neat experience.
32.What did you name the baby? Parks Adam.
33.Does his/her name have any significant meaning?Yes, He's named after my great grandpa.
34.Did you have any visitors? Yes.
35.Did the baby have any complications? Not really..
36.How old is your baby today? Almost 9 months old! Goes by fast.
37.When is the next one coming? Not until Parks is almost 3.
38.If you could, would you do it all over again? yes, but not to soon.

1.I have what I call "fat feet" or wide feet.
2. I have geographical tongue.
3. I love to cook & bake.. and If I could I'd love to own my own diner.
4.There are 8 1/2 years between me and my oldest sister, and 10 years between me and my youngest brother.
5.I was a nanny for a jewish family in New Jersey for 8 almost 9 months.
6.I'm addicted to reading others blogs and surfing the internet.
7. I absolutely LOvE the game Sim's and Mario.
8. I have to wiggle my feet or rub them on something in order to fall asleep.
9.I can pop my jaw out of place and open my mouth so it looks almost amazingly wide.
10. I have a potential bucket list! ;]
11. My grandpa Herb is my hero. r.i.p.
12. I'm incredibly interested in everyone else's drama but I don't want to be in it.Probably why I'm so intrigued in reality shows.
13.I color my hair faithfully.
14. I dance at home far to much... ha.
15. I don't care much for concerts...at all.
16. I look up to my dad in ways that he probably doesn't even realize.
17. My favorite number is 16 because of my birthday Oct. 16th, and at 16 years old I think I had one of my best birthdays.
18. My memory is shot. I forget most everything.. and constantly have been losing my phone and wallet. Is this what happens the day you sign up to be a mother?
19. I'm scared to death of having one of my loved one's pass on..

21. Since 7th grade I've had a best friend thats a boy.
22. I never really realized who I really was of felt comfortable in my real skin until after I had my son.
23. My nickname from my family was always "Jadey" or "Jadey Padey" and still at 22 years old my brother and my dad still call me that on occasion and I love it.
24. I love decor but I wish I was a better decorator.
25. I have a big scar down the middle of my chest.. It looks like a hook. When I was 7 or 8 I was playing outside and ran into a barbwire fence. =/

I was reading through blogs and came across Best of Police @ BYU.
Here are two stories that I thought were funny:


Sept. 27: A student and her roommate were walking by Miller Field when they noticed a possibly unclothed man in the shadows. They reported that he was an estimated 300 pounds but were unable to estimate his age. He told them "hello."

Nov. 28: Police received a complaint about a man with a rope on the east side of the library attempting to lasso people as they walked by. The man was gone when police arrived.

thoughts and things..

Things are going along as smooth as they can be right now.

Parks is sick.. but is getting better as the days pass by.
He has had croup (soelling?) and an ear infection.
I really dislike ear infections...
BUT
I really HATE croup.
It was a few hard nights and a few hard days and some shoving medicine into his mouth days, and then making sure he swallowed it all while he tried to wiggle away...
Gotta love the little stinker!

I have decided to take a small leave from hair.
However,
I really do love doing hair I'm just not making the kind of money I wish I was so I'm going to work more nights waiting on tables for the time being.


Tyson has passed all his EMT test and I couldn't be more pleased.
I know he can do anything he puts his mind to.
He's very driven and I admire that in him.


I recently have made some goals for myself that I'm choosing not to write down because I don't want others to know if I fail! =]
They are all spiritual and moral goals. I hope to achieve them or improve upon them.
I'm grateful for all of the many things I have been blessed with and I feel that if I try to do better and show my heavenly father I'm trying that he'll know how grateful I am through my actions! =]

Parks is going to be 8 months old in only 6 days! I'm astonished at how time has just flown right by. I love being a mom. He's an amazing little boy!
