Sick Days...

Tyson and I aren't really feeling to well... So, Today we both ended up staying at home. He's got a fever, cough, the whole works. I feel so bad for him. :( Both of us have really bad body aches... but I'm not coughing as bad as him. I sure hope that I don't feel worse tomorrow, at least I have the day off.

On a brighter note: This morning I woke up to a bassinet on our porch with baby blankets and a bunch of diapers. I was really excited. The bassinet is shabby, totally cute! I was really excited. Our neighbor gave it to us. :D woohoo.

I also opened up my email today only to find a joke my mom had sent me, so read ahead, and i hope it makes you laugh like it did me!

MARIJUANA FILLED FIREWOOD"

"Hello, is this the Sheriff's Office?"

"Yes. What can I do for you?"

"I'm calling to report 'bout my neighbor Virgil Smith....He's hidin' marijuana inside his firewood! Don't quite know how he gets it inside them logs, but he's hidin' it there."

"Thank you very much for the call, sir."

The next day, the Sheriff's Deputies descend on Virgil's house. They search the shed where the firewood is kept.
Using axes, they bust open every piece of wood, but find no marijuana. They sneer at Virgil and leave.

Shortly, the phone rings at Virgil's house.

"Hey, Virgil! This here's Floyd....Did the Sheriff come?"

"Yeah!"

"Did they chop your firewood?"

"Yep!"

"Happy Birthday, buddy!"

BTW: i am sure Monson will do great, but I've just grown to really love Hinckley... So, it's a little unfamiliar to me to see Monson speaking as our prophet now.

life....

Yesterday we were at Stu's house (our friend) and it started to snow. I love it when it snow's here because it seems so rare. I guess thats what makes it enjoyable though. Most of the snow has melted by this afternoon though...which is good, because i don't think I drive real well in the snow!

Every Monday I get an email that says how many weeks I am pregnant. Todays said 26 weeks Pregnant, and then it had a little note about how the baby was growing and what was growing, kinda neat. At the bottom of the page it had this little cartoon:
It totally made me smile! If you cant see the writing on the bottom of the photo, it reads " The word you are searching for is 'radiant'"....

What's going on:::

Today is Sunday, and we were going to go to my parents ward instead of our usual Married ward because Elder Holland (sp?) was suppose to come to speak for stake conference, but due to the prophet passing away, he couldn't come anymore. When i found out that the prophet had passed away i was a little shocked for a minute, and i thought it was just a rumor... but i feel that it was his time to go. He was pretty darn old, and I'm sure he was stoked to see his wife again! :D

Today is also Super Bowl Sunday!! :D WOOT!

PS. 14 weeks left till we have our lil' baby boy out to play! :D
